Instructs teachers about educational software applications in instructional settings by students and teachers. Includes integrated packages (word processing, database, spreadsheet, telecommunications) graphics software, presentation software, and desktop publishing software.

"This course focuses on the change management role of performance technologists including the application of needs assessment tools and techniques used in business and industry, government, education and other public/private institutions to identify organizational performance problems and to select appropriate solutions. Topics include: Human Performance Technology, Performance Analysis, Cause Analysis, Intervention Selection, Intervention Implementation and Change, and Evaluation. Students will conduct a Needs Assessment (NA) and prepare an NA Report that identifies performance issues and prescribes interventions/solutions".

A graduate course that focuses on trends and issues related to providing students with strategies for integrating digital literacy curriculum tools into all areas of the PK-20 curriculum. Content is based on learning theoretical frameworks and concentrations on developing instructional methodologies and integration techniques for new media, new learning, and new literacies in the field of educational technology.
