"This course provides an overview of traditional and emerging audio visual media for various instructional settings and purposes. There is an emphasis on developing knowledge and skills in evaluating, designing, producing and using media such as text, hypertext, graphics, audio, video and hypermedia to enhance communications and instruction. This course provides an overview of media and technology in the context of both education and communication theory, and allows the student to explore media and technology through a variety of applications."
